Co-founder and Member of the Brussels Privacy Hub, Prof. Paul De Hert, will moderate a panel on online disinformation, propaganda and radicalisation at the 9th Europol Data Protection Experts Network Conference.

The conference held from 19-20 September 2022 is titled ‘It’s the End of the World as We Know It: Data Protection and Law Enforcement in a Shifting World Order.’

Prof. Paul De Hert will moderate the panel on 19 September from 12-13h titled ‘If you cannot make it, fake it – The cyber space as a place for the spreading of disinformation, propaganda and online radicalisation.’

The panel will include the following speakers:

  • Julia Ebner (Senior Research Fellow, Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD))
  • Camille Antunes (Specialist, Europol)
  • Juliana Gragnani (Journalist, BBC Disinformation Team)
