The Brussels Privacy Hub celebrates Data Protection Day 2023. Since beginning our work in 2014 we have been committed to promote awareness and critical thinking about privacy, data protection and the regulation of digital technologies. Data Protection Day is an opportunity to reflect on the many unsolved challenges of our field.

In an era of pandemic and refugee crises, the issue of personal data protection (and of fundamental rights protection in general) more crucial than ever. The protection of vulnerable data subjects is the main goal of VULNERA, our new International Observatory on Vulnerable People in Data Protection in cooperation with the Future of Privacy Forum.
