Contact

António Biason is a legal and policy officer at the European Commission’s Data Policy and Innovation Unit (DG CNECT). He is currently focused on implementing the Data Governance Act and negotiating the Data Act proposal. Before his current role, he acted as the deputy attaché for digital and telecom affairs at the Permanent Representation of Portugal to the EU in the context of the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the EU. Biason holds a bachelor’s degree in politics and international relations and a master’s degree in international and European law.
