Tania Schröter joined the Commission in 2004. Since 2016, she is Deputy Head of Unit of the unit dealing with judicial cooperation in criminal matters and criminal procedural law in the European Commission, Directorate General for Justice and Consumers. She is part of the team which prepared and negotiated the two legislative proposals on e-evidence. She is also involved in international negotiations on e-evidence (Second Additional Protocol to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime, EU-US e-evidence agreement, UN Convention on Cybercrime). Prior to joining the Commission, she worked for an international law firm in Brussels.
