Michal Czerniawski, PhD, is a lawyer working for the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs of the European Parliament. He specialises in data protection, information security and transparency. He holds an LL.M. in Law and Technology from the University of Ottawa and is an attorney-at-law admitted in Poland. Before joining the European Parliament, he was a legal officer at the European Data Protection Board.
