After over a decade at the helm of the International Data Privacy Law (IDPL) journal, Professor Christopher Kuner, Honorary Director at the Brussels Privacy Hub, bids farewell as the Editor-in-Chief with the recent release of Volume 14, Issue 1. Prof. Kuner, who has been instrumental in establishing and steering the journal since its inception in 2011, expressed confidence in the new editorial team poised to carry forward its legacy.

In his parting editorial titled “Some Parting Remarks, with a Hopeful Glance towards the Future,” Prof. Kuner reflects on his tenure and expresses optimism for the journal’s trajectory under the stewardship of the incoming editors. With Orla Lynskey and Nóra Ní Loideáin assuming the roles of joint Editors-in-Chief, and supported by editors Jef Ausloos, Luca Belli, Edward Dove, and Elif Küzeci, the IDPL journal is set to thrive with fresh perspectives and expertise.
