Brussels Privacy Hub has spent the past decade at the forefront of advancing privacy and data protection in Europe and beyond. Established as a multidisciplinary research group, it has brought together scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to engage in critical discussions on privacy and data protection challenges and opportunities. Through its commitment to fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange, the Brussels Privacy Hub has contributed to shape the future of privacy and data protection in an increasingly digitalised world, advocating for effective solutions to protect fundamental rights in the face of evolving technological landscapes.

To celebrate the Brussels Privacy Hub’s 10-year anniversary, the event “Navigating Tomorrow: A Data Protection Decade and Future Challenges in the Algorithmic Era” will take place on February 5th, from 2 pm at Vrije Universiteit Brussel Campus, Building I.

This event will gather those who have been instrumental in shaping the Brussels Privacy Hub in an in-person-only format, embarking on a forward-looking dialogue at the intersection of data protection and other data laws.

Places are limited. We encourage you to register using this link to ensure your presence.

Attendees of the Winter Academy 2025 who register by December 15th will also receive special access to this event. More information about the Winter Academy is available Here.
