Biography
Pablo Trigo Kramcsák is a PhD student at the Research Group on Law, Science, Technology & Society (LSTS) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). His PhD research focuses on legitimate interest as an appropriate lawful basis for processing Artificial Intelligence training datasets, addressing the difficulties involved, risks, and potential impacts on data subjects’ rights and freedoms. Pablo also conducts research on issues related to lawful grounds for big data processing, AI governance, and cross-border data flow rules.
Pablo obtained his LLB degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and holds an LL.M. degree in International Law from the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and the University of Chile.
