A new short paper by our Co-Director Sophie Stalla-Bourdillon aims to shed light on the potential impact of the proposed amendments to the GDPR. Much like the attempted definition in the UK Data Protection and Digital Information Bill, the proposed Digital Omnibus leaves room for a range of interpretations, some of which are highly problematic and even largely disregard the current state of the art in statistical disclosure control methods.
